"My name is Rebecca de Ruyter and I am the director of California Rehabilitation in Tustin/ Santa Ana. I graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in kinesiology and a minor in psychology in 1999. I continued my education at California State University, Long Beach receiving a Master's of Physical Therapy in 2003. Since becoming licensed in the state of California, I have pursued advanced "hands-on" education and am currently training in the McKenzie method of treatment for the spine.
I have been practicing physical therapy for over 5 years and have proudly been working with owners Mark Nolte, PT and Ed Detels, OT since 2007. I believe I have found a home with Cal Rehab due to a treatment philosophy that puts clients first. We evaluate each client individually, and develop personal programs that include "hands-on" treatment. Additionally, we value the opportunity to educate clients about their condition and ways to modify postures and activities that may be contributing to pain, motion loss or weakness.
