Jeremy Simmons, PT, MPT, CFMT, Clinic Director
Jeremy was born and raised in Southern California. He was part of Chapman University’s inaugural football team way back in 1994 and received his Bachelor’s Degree Magnum Cum Laude in Exercise Physiology and Athletic Training in 1998. Jeremy then attended Chapman University’s physical therapy program and graduated with his Master’s Degree in 2000. As a physical therapist, Jeremy has had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including; Outpatient and Inpatient Rehabilitation, Acute Care, and now Private Outpatient Therapy. He has experience with all types of neurologic diagnosis such as CVA, spinal injury, dizziness/vertigo, amputees, Parkinson’s disease, and balance disorders to name a few. In 2016 Jeremy was very excited earn his Certification in Functional Manual Therapy (CFMT) from the Institute of Physical Art. The CFMT is regarded as one of the most difficult certifications to complete as a physical therapist and requires advanced assessment and treatment of complex diagnoses through manual therapy techniques. CFMTs are skilled in the treatment of spinal dysfunction, chronic pain, TMJ, coccydynia, and visceral dysfunctions. Jeremy has held a Medical Level 3 certification from the Titleist Performance Institute since 2011 and has worked with a number of professional and amateur golfers. Jeremy has been a nationwide educator in the area of stroke rehabilitation, has been a professor for Chapman University’s human anatomy lab, and has instructed in the Doctorate level Physical Therapy program at Chapman University. Jeremy is a devout family man with a beautiful wife Carrie and 2 amazing young sons Brady and Casey. Hobbies typically involve spending time with his boys, mountain biking, golfing, skiing, or just enjoying a craft brew with his wife from one of the local Orange County breweries.
