Keith Corbin, PT, DPT, Clinic Director
graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. After obtaining his B.A. degree, he initially started a 13-year long career in finance. After experiencing numerous postural related injuries from sedentary office work, he found physical therapy again as a patient. His first experience with physical therapy was in his youth rehabilitating through various lower extremity injuries from competitive soccer. Personally, working through injuries and regaining fitness, he began his journey in 2010 to pursue his passion in health & wellness. Working full time and taking night classes to make the career change, he obtained acceptance to the highly ranked clinical Doctoral program in Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California.
While at USC, Dr. Keith had the opportunity to focus his clinical rotations in multiple outpatient orthopedic settings, working with patients of all ages and conditions. He has experience with sports injuries, conditions of the spine, neck, low back and sacroiliac joints. Dr. Keith has also completed post-graduate course work through American Academy of Manipulative Therapy and was accepted to the fellowship program of orthopedic manual therapy. There he has gained training and certificates in spine manipulative therapy, dry-needling, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization and various other treatment techniques.
Dr. Keith believes each patient should receive individualized care through a combination of comprehensive manual therapy techniques in order to address mobility deficits and soft tissue restrictions, manual resistance & neuromuscular re-education for stability. And therapeutic exercise to strengthen and regain ability to move without restriction. He strives to normalize faulty movement patterns in his patients so that they may return to doing what they love with freedom & confidence.
In his free time, Keith enjoys playing and teaching his two young children, spending time with his wife and playing soccer. When time permits, his other hobbies include cycling, golfing, running, and snowboarding.
