Tricia Thoms, PT, DPT, ATC Clinic Director

Tricia attended high school at Foothill High School in Tustin, CA before attending Concordia University in Irvine, CA on a softball scholarship.  While at Concordia Tricia majored in Exercise and Sport Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training and became a NATA Certified Athletic Training (ATC).  Following completion of her undergraduate degree Tricia went on to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) at Chapman University in Orange, CA.  Tricia decided to become a physical therapist after successfully recovering from shoulder surgery in high school and being able to continue to play softball in college.  It is her goal to make sure all patients can return to the activities they love pain free.  Her passion is high level return to sport training and says there is no greater feeling than seeing a rehabilitated athlete back out on the field doing what they love.  Over the course of her career, Tricia has had the opportunity to rehabilitate several professional football, hockey, soccer and beach volleyball players, including Olympic Gold Medalist Misty May- Treanor, as well as numerous collegiate athletes.  Tricia is married and enjoys spending time outdoors including hiking with her vizsla Tucker.  She is a huge college football fan, (Go Gators), and a baseball fan, (Go Angels).
