Silverton Nguyen, PT, MPT, OCS, CCI, Clinic Director
Silverton has been practicing physical therapy since 2011. He graduated from University of California, San Diego as a Regent’s Scholar with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a minor in Psychology. He then went on to earn his Master’s in Physical Therapy from Cal State Long Beach in 2011 and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences in 2017. He is a board certified orthopaedic clinical specialist (OCS), a specialization that only 6% of physical therapists in the United States achieve. As an advocate of lifetime learning, he trained to become a Certified Clinical Instructor to better teach physical therapy students and is a lecturer for the Department of Physical Therapy at Cal State Long Beach. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He has worked in diverse settings including hospitals, nursing facilities, outpatient centers, and sporting events. He has a passion for rehabilitating patients from all backgrounds, believing that everyone can lead stronger and healthier lives. Silverton enjoys travel, cooking, camping, and DIY home improvements with his wife.
