David Bien, PT, MPT, OCS, Clinic Director

David has been practicing physical therapy over 15 years in an outpatient orthopedic setting. He graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1998. He continued his education and graduated from Western University of Health Science in 2002 with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. David’s passion is learning manual therapy and helping patients recover from their injuries and return back to normal life. He has learned several approaches used to treat spinal dysfunction including osteopathic manipulation techniques and became a certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2008.


Marissa Schubert, PT, MPT

Marissa has been practicing physical therapy for 6 years in an outpatient orthopedic setting. She graduated from California State University Long Beach in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise science. She continued her education at CSULB and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2011. Marissa enjoys being in the outdoors and traveling.



Julie Bright, CHT, OT/L

Julie is a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) and a Licensed Occupational Therapist. She has been practicing hand therapy since 2000 and joined California Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy, Santa Ana/Tustin in 2005. She graduated from College Misericordia in Dallas, Pennsylvania with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 1999. She went on to receive her certification in hand therapy in 2006. Julie’s specialized services include custom splinting, wound care, post-surgical care, as well as appropriate initial treatment, short-term and long-term goals to maximize restoration of upper extremity function. She also holds a certification in ASTYM, a soft tissue technique that assists in the treatment of a variety of conditions. In her free time, Julie likes movies, Angels Baseball, and traveling. Her greatest passion is being a mom to very active twin boys.

Jay Fuller, PTA

Jay has been practicing physical therapy for over 23 years in an outpatient orthopedic setting. He graduated from Loma Linda University with a Degree in physical therapist assistant. Jay believes in a hands-on approach to physical therapy. In his spare time, Jay enjoys surfing, and mountain biking with his wife and two children.
